To remove and reposition existing shade structure to another area on school grounds. Formulate a drainage system to move excess water from existing concrete areas and construct and pave a new concrete subfloor for the COLA area.
The client was looking to upgrade an existing shade structure which was unsuitable for the task as the ground underneath was consistently damp and muddy, rendering it unusable during the wetter months.
Apex Shade Structures manufactured and installed a 24m x 14m structure with rainfall catchment, and constructed and paved a new concrete subfloor with improved drainage system.
This attractive space is now able to be used for the purpose originally intended –outdoor learning activities, school assemblies and social functions in all weather conditions.
