Our commercial shade structures have sails that are sewn using only high-quality UV stabilised thread. Any seams are interlocked and double stitched for maximum strength. Seatbelt webbing is sewn into corners and finished with stainless steel fittings for strengthened installation points.
Tight tensioning provides greater resistance to wear and tear of the fabric and is aesthetically attractive. Shade sails are fixed to anchoring points – ie brackets fixed onto existing solid structures or to steel posts embedded in concrete footings (powder coating on posts / brackets optional)
Where shade sails are not suitable due to height issues or soil quality concerns, we also offer cost effective and aesthetically pleasing commercial shade structures as an alternative.
Only the highest quality architectural grade PVC/PVDF fabrics are used by Apex Shade Structures, being mildew resistant and UV treated with varying weight per square metre depending on the size of the structure.
Fabric is stretched over the top frame and tensioned with a stainless perimeter cable to provide greater resistance to wear and tear.
Canopies have supporting upright posts, either embedded in their own concrete footing or directly bolted to existing concrete. Steelwork can be left galvanised or powder coated to a colour of your choice.
Post pads are also available in a variety of colours for added protection. All structures are fully engineered and we also provide a five-year structural warranty, offering peace of mind for many years to come.
